Lang Lawrence has been in this operations, facility management and real estate role since 2002 when he joined the company, but it has only been a full-time position since 2005. Before 2005, Lawrence was also a project engineer and manager in facilities engineering. His responsibilities included project management; engineering design for facilities and equipment installations; and energy management and control systems. Lawrence’s experience includes facilities management; building services engineering; fossil and nuclear power generation design, construction, and operation; and utility and infrastructure systems planning, design, construction, operation, maintenance, and management.
Prior to joining Raytheon in 2002, Lawrence worked for the University of Arizona facilities management department and held several management and engineering roles. He has also worked as a project and mechanical engineer for consulting engineering firms and electric utilities. Lawrence graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelor of science degree in nuclear engineering.
